This is Lake Hawea in the Otago region on the South Island NZ. I took this capture heading from Fox Glacier to Arrowtown. As I drove around a bend one of the most idyllic scenes greeted me. The stunning colours and broad expanse of sheer beauty. This lake lies in a glacial valley and is fed by the Hunter River.
