Very early in the morning - sunriseLighting
Lighting is everything in photography. It can be seen as the most important tool in photography. During the golden hour or early mornings the light appears more soft and warm. You need to set up early as the right moments presents themselves for plus minus 15 minutes. Without light there will not be any shadows. Weather conditions and temperature can affect your light. Even when your light is low you can achieve stunning images with the insight into the subject of light. The availability and quality of natural light has a profound effect on the ability to take effective photographs.Equipment
Camera Nikon, Wide angle lens, tripod.Inspiration
Photography as a whole inspire me on a regular basis. Different genres presents it challenges and winnings. I think the most challenging photographic genres are the recording of the drama of the natural Landscapes. When you use observational skills you can always find a point of interest together with your planned setting as I wanted to catch the sunrise that specific morning. The Cormorant created the opportunity to play around within seconds before he flew away. The atmosphere and the composition possibilities inspired me to play around with the light. Photography allows me to enjoy the passion for nature. The best moments in landscape photography are when a combination of light, sky, and atmosphere create a transcendent beauty. This is the ideal of photography; and all you have to do is to be there and be ready.Editing
I personally prefer to spend more time outdoors with my camera than indoors with the computer and post processing. I normally try to limit the hours on editing. For post-processing I love the possibilities in Luminar as editing becomes easy and quick. In my camera bag
I always plan ahead with the equipment that will suite the genres planned. Your camera with the basics, charged battery with an extra charged one if possible. Formatted memory cards. Lens Cleaning Wipes. Tripod and Remote shutter release (Cable switch). Wide angle lens with another prime lens. Last but not the least, I always pack refreshments and water.Feedback
Patience and planning is some of the most important characteristics to exercise. When it comes to settings the following is key. If you're new to digital photography, the three things you should acquaint yourself with first are the ISO, aperture, and shutter speed. The three work in concert, and if you can manipulate and control them all, you'll take fabulous photos without even touching the rest of your camera. Composition is always very important to attract attention to your photos. The rule of thirds is a useful guideline to look out for. Find your own style by practicing and think outside the box. I believe you should grow, improve, experiment and new possibilities will open creativity and innovation.
