The climate, the storm, the glorious sun, and the angry clouds all make for a beautiful background for the layers upon layers of the purple mountains in the desert as the storm moves in. Everything in the desert is exaggerated...what a sunset, the sun which started as a small ball of yellow, exploded into this and the contrast with the dark clouds, made for an ominous look!
