It was a bit agitating to be in the desert during a lightning storm but a photo deserves some bravery. So we just stayed away from the highest dunes. I noticed where most of the lightning go and set up my gear with that spot in my head. I also had a trigger I was eager to try out. And it worked, it captured a bolt of beautiful lightning. This photo is a single shot without even an HDR blend.
