Here's one of my rarer "wildlife" shots - taken at Slimbridge Wetland Centre.

For this day out, I ditched my better full frame camera and switched to my old Canon 700D - with it's crop sensor giving me a little extra zoom.

Still, with the crop sensor and 300mm lens I was unable to get the shots I wanted. I've been tempted to buy a 600mm lens for wildlife, but I don't think I'd use it enough to warrant the cost right now.

So despite filling an SD card, there are only a few images that I'm happy enough with to share. The first being this one of a Pintail Duck having a good ol' preen!

Canon 700D | 75-300mm lens at 300mm | ƒ-6.3 | 1-800 sec | ISO 800
