Taken in 2017, this major art installation "Blood Swept Lands and Seas of Red" at the Tower of London, marked one hundred years since the first full day of Britain's involvement in the First World War. 888,246 ceramic poppies were used in the installation.

I love playing with effects on Photoshop to make images that are just a little surreal.

I had to wait a while for the crowds to clear at the musée d'orsay; and then this couple stepped forward.

A composite image of more than 20 layers. The hardest part was working out how to overlay the eyelash detail.

The colours in this picture are all natural. The sun was behind me and the sky ahead was dark with rain clouds giving this deep blue colour.

Standing on top of a cliff can give you a 'birds eye' view of the gulls going past.
