Behind The Lens

Location

this was taken whilst walking the dog down the canal in rugby

Time

this was taken at around midday and the Robin just appeared and started singing and puffing its self up as it was quite cold

Lighting

lighting is completely natural

Equipment

Nikon D5300 , Nikkor AF-P 70-300mm hand held at 300mm

Inspiration

it was a spur of the moment as the robin just appeared

Editing

this edited using Photoshop RAW and Lightroom

In my camera bag

currently in my bag is the replacement for my trusty D5300 a D500 with the workhorse lens attached the Nikkor AF-P 70-300 VR DX, there is also my low light and landscape lens my Sigma 10-20 F3.5, also lurking is. sigma 150-600C along with its Gimbal head, the tripod is usually not far away from the bag as well and the monopod lives in the car.

Feedback

if you are out walking make sure you have a lens you are familiar with so its easy to use and the settings are usually dialled in from the get go. If you see it shoot it.
