The Toronto city skyline during a winter sunset, shot over a frozen Lake Ontario from centre island.

This was taken during a harsh -24c evening in February 2017, following a 40 min walk from the Wards Island ferry stop across to Centre Island to find the perfect spot to look directly across the lake to the CN Tower and Rogers Center as the city lights came on.

Shooting for hours in these temperatures was a real test for my equipment as well as my resolve. My iPhone gave into the cold first, but my trusty Canon 5d IV and M5 never faltered.
