Behind The Lens

Location

On a gravel road in Wabaunsee County, Kansas

Time

It was about noon, and my husband and I were driving around looking at the newly fallen snow.

Lighting

Natural daylight

Equipment

NIKON D5500 Aperture 71/10 ISO 100 Shutter 10/2000 Focal Length 200/10?

Inspiration

Native stone fences are a big thing in Wabaunsee County, and it was absolutely beautiful in the newly fallen snow.

Editing

My post-processing is very simple - I adjust the clarity and color and perhaps the brightness. I strive to make as few enhancements as possible so that my pictures are the most natural looking, although sometimes with a bit more vibrant color.

In my camera bag

Usually I have my camera in hand and leave the bag behind. But my bag contains extra batteries, external flash, a charger, sometimes a different lens.

Feedback

Just keep shooting. I normally take a lot of photos and about a handful turn out decent.
