On assignment and I was shooting Broll in front of a hospital in Johannesburg and I could see a storm coming. Then, all of the sudden this sandstorm came out of nowhere and I grabbed some stills on one camera and video on 2 other cameras. For a moment I thought I was in Mali, Africa where sandstorms occur on a pretty regular basis but this was just across the street from the hospital! Behind the sandstorm was a huge thunder, lightning and rain storm. I stayed until I was tasting the sand in my mouth (probably to long) and after that it rained non-stop for 4 hours.
