Location
My wife and I like to attract birds to a feeder, so we can photograph them and identify them. We have lived in Michigan, Tennessee, and now southern Ohio. The tufted titmouse is a bird common in Tennessee, and fairly calm around people. This one would let me get within 3 feet of it, by the bird feeder.Time
This was during mid-day. The kind of bird will dictate the time of day, as their feeding habits differ.Lighting
N/AEquipment
This was shot with my Nikon D3200, with the standard Nikon 70-210 lens.Inspiration
I enjoy shooting birds and other wildlife. I enjoy the challenge.Editing
I prefer to not do post-processing. I feel it is more "real" that way.In my camera bag
In my camera backpack, I have my Nikon D5600, a Sigma 70 - 300 lens, the Nikon 70 - 210 lens, the Nikon 18 - 55 lens, a 500mm telephoto, a doubler, a macro, spare battery, spare memory card, cleaning cloths and duster, notebook and pen, Microsoft Surface Pro tablet, cables for connecting to my tablet, remote trigger, and flash. Strapped to the side of the backpack is my tripod.Feedback
Patience. Birds can be extremely skittish around people. Some, like chickadees, might land on you. When I bought my D5600, I started playing with the wifi interface to my phone. I can set the camera on the tripod, and view/fire from my phone.
