Behind The Lens

Location
The photo was taken in my beloved Zoo Jihlava in the Czech republic.
Time
That day was freezing and snowing.I was standing at snow leopard paddock for more than 3 hours when I managed to capture this beautiful moment.The photo was taken through glass and I was afraid a bit, that the photo won't be sharp.Finally the photo turned out well and I was very happy for that moment. The photo was taken on January 5, 2019 at 11:39 AM.
Lighting
There was only natural daylight.
Equipment
I use camera nikon D750 and lens Sigma 150-600mm sport
Inspiration
I had no specific inspiration but I am happy when I can capture some emotions and it turned well on this photo. My everyday inspiration is my passion for photographing and animals.
Editing
I edit my photos in photoshop, I extracted shades on this photo. I used a little livelier colors. I smudged background a bit and sharpened the photo in the end.
In my camera bag
In my backpack you can find camera Nikon D750 and lens Sigma 150-600mm sport. And there are gloves and light so I can move in the dark. There is spare battery for the camera as well.
Feedback
In this photo the key was finding the right place for photographing because there is a glass which is dirty and greasy sometimes and the photo is not sharp. The key is find the place where you can take a sharp photo, this is the first thing I solve. Then I focus on getting some nice background in it. My photos are from Zoo, but I am trying to make it not so much obvious and the photo not looking like Zoo pictures which is tricky because of that background. And the moment when I took this photo was about good luck and especially about patience. Although the animals have nowhere to run, they are not always active and it is necessary to be at the paddock for few hours to have some nice photo taken.
