Behind The Lens

Location

This photo was taken while on a walk on the beach, enjoying the beautiful sunset in Fort Morgan, Alabama. I was in the perfect spot at the right time.

Time

I remember it was a long day at work, and arrived home at 6:00 pm. I wanted to go for a walk and relax and enjoy the sunset while listening to the water washing onto the sand.

Lighting

I wanted to capture this beautiful scene to show how beautiful nature is. Everything played together at the same time. Sunsetting, dark blue water rippling and the golden sand. It was unbelievable.

Equipment

This was taken with my IPhone 8 Plus, believe it or not. I was lucky to have this opportunity to be in the right place. Totally unexpected.

Inspiration

The perfect setting, atmosphere and the rays of sunshine reflecting across the blue water made me so at rest and peaceful. Pure tranquility.

Editing

This is the actual photograph taken. Nothing was done to alter it in anyway. Sometimes all you need to do is let nature show her beauty.

In my camera bag

Normally I use my Canon EOS Rebel T6. This particular day, I was not carrying my bag with the camera and lenses.

Feedback

My advise is to not force any shot. Learn to let it happen. Be ready to capture the moment when it appears because it will be be gone quickly.
