I was out hiking with my family and just happened to see the sun shine through this little hole in a rotten tree stump. It took a few minutes of awkward positioning to catch the light in just the right way

This is a photo of my dog, Kenji, who is an Akita. He has such an expressive face. I see love, comfort, and soul when I look into his eyes.

This photo was taken on my back porch when the temperature was 4 degrees Fahrenheit. The bubble froze in about 15 seconds.

I used a macro lens to capture the small details on the tips of this rose bulb anemone.
