Stumbled across Mermaid Street in medieval Rye on Boxing Day. What a wonderfully atmospheric place. Tiny passageways and cobbled streets lined with Tudor cottages that wind their way down hill to the harbour. Snapped this shot this evening and I'm compelled to go back for more.
