I live a 20 minute drive to one of the best beaches in Oregon. So it's easy to walk or stick around to watch the sunset. So many photos are just the beach, I wanted to add a bit of drama and texture to it by adding in the the beach grass. I love how it turned out.Time
One of my favorites. Great day at the beach and watching the sunset. It's almost like a passage of summer to see at least one sunset. This one did not dissapoint.Lighting
What can I say. Natural light is best, this is a perfect example. I love in that moment when the sun reaches that spot where time stands still and nothing else really matters.Equipment
This is a photo from my phone, one of those days when you live for the moment and jump in the truck and off you go. LolInspiration
It was one of those moments that you want to take with you. One that you can say to yourself, remember that day. Oh yes, the water, the grass, the sound of the horns calling the fisherman home and that sunset that was breathtaking.Editing
Very little processing, a little cropping and a little color correction. With my phone camera I have to make heavy correction if pinks are involved but this was gloriously orange so not much at all.In my camera bag
Didnt have my bag this day, so phone camera was it. It's a Samsung Galaxy Note8Feedback
If you're a natural light person like me, early morning or late afternoon are best, midday light can be harsh. Sunsets are best about 15 minutes before sunset but stick around for a while after because sometimes the colors are incredible after the sun is down.
