Behind The Lens

Location

photograph taken while on a trip to barcalona, taking shots of the gothic quarter. at the time, the rallying in barcalona was ongoing, hoards of people in support of what was going on, this shot was taken near the centre, in passing and by chance.

Time

time of day, i guess, mid day. glorious sunshine, clear skies.

Lighting

no

Equipment

the camera was a Sony A5000 with a 200mm zoom.

Inspiration

for inspiration, well, i kinda liked the image of what i was seeing, two young kids, on there way to a Catalonian rally, great architecture and background, with great lighting (natural), for a silhouette (ish) shot.

Editing

yes, i used NIK silver efx pro, and color efx pro for changing the contrast and brightness, i think the processing to black and white, i used a ilford 400 film effect for texture.

In my camera bag

i normally use my Sony A5000 with kit lens (55mm) and a 200mm zoom, a Nikon D3200, with a wide angle macro, and 55mm lens.

Feedback

well not really other than, watch what is going on around you, be alert of things that are about to happen, trial and error - the best advice, try all possible scenario's in technical settings, see what happens, experiment.
