This was taken on a Nikon D5000 with Nikon 18-55 kit lens. No other equipment used.Inspiration
There is a story behind it this picture. At one time there was a 10' metal satellite dish there, my mother in law hated being there and wanted it gone it prevented her from watching the deer the evening grazing in the field. My father n law to please the mother in law took it down, he asked what if anything was to go back into it's place, her answer was to put a water pump there so it was close to her flower beds. This picture shows the ending result.Editing
I try not to do any post-processing, if I do any it maybe crop something from edges. I try to keep the picture as close to what my eyes see when I decided to take the picture. In my camera bag
I have a Nikon D 500 upgraded from D 5000 I have 18-55 lens, 35 mm lens both Nikon, I have 70-105 Sigma lens. Tripod, assorted filters, lens cleaning kit, 6 extra batteries and 2 chargers, several sd cards.Feedback
Look out side the normal places that you travel. Drive down country roads, old farms, look for the picture you want to hang on your wall. Shoot many shots at different angles in different natural lighting, move around. I may shoot 10 pictures to get 1 I like. Photography is a art, every thing from the sky to the ground and everything in between is your canvas you have to have the eye to see the hidden picture.
