Three young migrant women are studying Italian and to get the high school diploma in an afternoon class by CPIA (Government's Centers for Adults Education) in Camini, a small village near Riace (the most famous town in Italy for immigrants hospitality policies), in Southern Italy.
In Camini most of the migrants are refugees from Syria, who arrived here through humanitarian corridors. A local cooperative helps them with integration, providing migrants with a place to stay, professional courses to learn a job, after-school activities for children and other services, despite the Italian Government current anti-immigration policies. Some of CPIA’s teachers also work with the cooperative, supporting its language courses.
