The old Ganzirri pylon is still there, although it has not been working for decades, watching the ships which cross the Strait of Messina, where two monsters dwelled, according ancient Greeks' legends.
They were Scylla, on the Calabria's coast, and Charybdis in Sicily. They used to destroy the ships and devour the sailors who attempted to cross the Strait.
