The rock formations in the lower Nevis Valley are so near Queenstown, but another world away. This rock has always reminded me of of the fossiled figure eternally manning an enormous cannon on an abondoned spacacraft in the first Avatar movie. I've had an image like this in mind for a long time, so I went out and shot images of the rock and myself in position and put this together in Photoshop.
