I took this photo from the grounds of the Kilauea Lighthouse on Kauai. I used a 150mm zoom lens to capture this shot. The dolphin was approximately 1 mile from shore.

I had been scanning the water and watching for activity. I finally spotted some action and zoomed in and started snapping away. I was thrilled to see I captured this photo with the dolphin in mid-air and spinning!
