Behind The Lens

Location

This was taken at my home in a home studio set up, I am a self taught photographer and editor.

Time

This was taken on a December evening back in 2018.

Lighting

Flash was used to light this image in a home studio setting so that it was in a perfect condition to edit.

Equipment

Shot on a Cannon EOS 1200D, flash used and stood upon a tripod for a stable shot.

Inspiration

I was looking to shoot alternative fashion to a modelling portfolio standard.

Editing

Yes there was quite a lot of post processing with this one. It was taken in a spare room crouched by a skirting board that needed to be edited out to give the effect of a professional image and saturation was also altered.

In my camera bag

I like to keep it simple when I shoot with just my camera and occasionally tripod.

Feedback

Don't be afraid of getting creative in the post processing part of photography. Capture what you want on the desired colour background you want (e.g against a white wall) and edit out anything such as carpet, skirting board. Post processing isn't something to be feared, you can get really creative with your images.
