I ran up the road to get this picture (fortunately I left the grips on my boots from the previous day) and made it just in time before the sun went back into cloud and dropped behind a hill. This was the first significant snow of the year and somebody had run down the hill to try out their skis. I really like the balance between the tree and the beautifully lit house. The cloud was a real bonus. Grab the moment.
