Took this photo in our living room on a lazy Saturday morning. Eastern PennsylvaniaTime
Saturday mornings are for banana pancakes and coffee. This was late in the morning, probably around 11:30am. We had just gotten done eating breakfast and were getting ready to go out and enjoy the sunshine. Our cat, Garbanzo, who is a serial snuggle, loves my wife. She is definitely his favorite. She loves him equally as much.Lighting
I was actually cleaning my camera lenses before we went out to walk and snap some photos. I decided to test it out in the house because my wife and Garb was being super cute. All of the lighting is natural light from the 6 windows we have in our living room. We pulled up the blinds and let the sun do its work. I also bumped up the ISO because the majority of the light was coming in from the window closest to themEquipment
I used a Canon 6D and free-handed it. No flash or tripod. The lighting was too perfect. The lens I used was a 35 mm Tamron lens. Oh I got up nice and closeInspiration
Just a lazy Saturday where I was cleaning my camera before heading out and saw the moment. If you've seen my portfolio, I take pictures of any and everything. I'm an opportunist and I accept all subjects when it comes to shootingEditing
It's been so long that I do not remember. I suppose that I must have edited during the conversion from RAW to JPG, but any adjustments we probably for reducing the harsh light coming from the closest window. In my camera bag
Canon 6d, Sigma 50 mm 1.4, 35 mm 1.8, Canon 100mm 2.8 USM, extra batteries, chargers and a portable charger. All prime lenses(which can get heavy after a while). I also have a Rokinon 85 mm 1.4 that I swap out with the 100 mm depending on where I am headingFeedback
Take a picture of everything and every moment you find interesting or intriguing. I probably took 30 pictures in this 5 minute span of bonding. This was just the best one. I also took these pictures just to test out my camera. I didn't plan on posting any until I saw this gem. Ordinary moments make for sometimes amazing and heartwarming shots
