Behind The Lens

Location

This is a photo of a storm whipped Indian Ocean was taken by me from East London, South Africa. The place is called Eastern Beach. I am a self taught photographer, and enjoy snapping photo's of nature and this caught my eye.

Time

It was an early summers morning, the firs tclear day of a couple of wind swept and gloomy days prior

Lighting

I don't really know too much about this, i shoot what i see and try different settings till i am happy with the outcome

Equipment

I shot this with my Canon 450D, with a Sigma 70 - 200 mm lense

Inspiration

Nature and all its beauty is one thing i really enjoy capturing and when i saw the sun coming up i knew it would be a spectacular event, which it was!

Editing

I did do minor touch up's on the image with corel, saturated the image slightly to try and show the beauty of the image and a little cropping.

In my camera bag

Well i only have my Canon 450D and 2 lenses, so those are pretty much always in my bag

Feedback

it's all about patients and timing, take your time do some research on what you want to achieve and try different settings and try and get off the "auto" button!
