During a trip to Izmir, Turkey, we went to Konak Square and saw the historic clock tower in the square. We went there very early in the day as the square can be quite busy. While there we saw this local gentleman waiting for locals or visitors to buy some food to feed the many pigeons that also frequent the square. Feeding the birds is common in Konak Square. The scene just struck me and something I wanted to capture.
