We usually arrive early morning, as it’s quieter.

Lighting

It was an overcast day, so the colours are not as bright as they can br

Equipment

My camera of choice is a Nikon D750 with a Sigma 150-600 lens

Inspiration

One of the colourfulest birds on the reserve, when the sun isn’t breaking through, the Male Manderin Ducks, usually hide away. This one decided to step out and have a pose

Editing

Some slight brightening and spot removal (I think my sensor could do with a clean) was all that was required

In my camera bag

Lenses I carry around with me are 18-55, 28-300 and a105 macro, cleaning cloths, a couple of spare batteries and memory cards
