Location
I took this photo in Seoul, South Korea. It was one of my last days of vacation there.Time
It was the 3rd of April 2017, around 8pm local time. A chilly evening, almost cold!Lighting
There were very low lights all around, except for the ones on the bridge and the cars passing on it.Equipment
I used a Nikon D7000 pared with a Nikkor 17-55 mm f/2.8. No flash, no tripod. Actually, I put the camera on a rock to shoot this! I shot at 31 mm, f/14, 5 sec and 320 ISO.Inspiration
The moment was magical. My love for Seoul has already grew so much in the past weeks spent there, the Banpo Bridge was the last piece of perfection of a city that I feel like mine now. The water dancing to the music, the colors, the Seoul Tower in the background... It was one of the best moments ever.Editing
I did very little post-processing! Just a bit on the shadows, to open them a bit. The rest, it was already on camera! In my camera bag
I now changed my equipment, implementing it with a Nikon Z6 and a Nikkor 16-35 mm f/4. I also have a Nikkor 70-200 mm f/2.8, a Nikkor 50 mm f/1.8 and a not very fancy tripod that does his work! The most important thing I have in there? A LOT of spare batteries!!Feedback
Choose a good spot, and if you have a tripod with you, you can move around a bit to try and get a new angle! Then just... Enjoy it, play with the settings and capture the scene every 10 seconds. You're gonna go home with a lot of fantastic photos!
