This could really use some description of where it is, why does he have such a long lens for such a close in shot, and what is the bar at his side. Thanks for any explanation.

Hi, this was taken whilst we were in Mauritius, we were on a walking with Lions trip. If you like Lions or other big cats then i would suggest you go there if you get the chance. :)

Rather dangerous to my opinion. We got a wild park In Holland and there it is forbidden to aproche the animals. Some very nice narrow escapes can be seen on youtube.
