Behind The Lens

Location

My home studio

Time

In the afternoon

Lighting

I use speed lite because I knew afternoon natural light it has had no enough tones and white balance could be wacky.

Equipment

Pentax K before updating gear - Pentax K - 50, lens macro, speed lite, no tripod.

Inspiration

I love macro and texture - I have been more abstract artist back then than editorial one so everything giving viewers time to rethink a composition was worth to show.

Editing

Yes, monochrome effect added in NIK collection and some work with exposure in Adobe Photoshop

In my camera bag

In present day - Pentax K - 3, lenses 24mm wide angle, 50mm and 18-55 but sometime I take 28mm portrait with me or something bigger like 800mm to sport photography

Feedback

It is not complicated and more sophisticated image it easier to catch by using macro lens than with rings or filters
