I love your portrait, I don't think its about Nationality but get where your coming from. I enter portraits into competitions and see great straight portraits don't do well.Its nothing personal, its taste. Keep doing fantastic work.

In the middle of the night. It was enough dark to use my studio lamps and enough quiet at home to work.Lighting
Definitly I used studio light and fast shutter speed to expose more details onto face.Equipment
Pentax K 50 with zoom lens. I would like to show face but my standard kit wouldn't have managed that so I took zoom lens. Of course, Tripod because even my fast shutter I didn't believe shake hand free picture. So Tripod was necessery. I set my flash to lowest light so photography 'caught' shapes of face.Inspiration
Tired man and his daily fight to improve quality his life even he received still not enough. It could be trigger to hard working and education to get high and high to stop worried about future. Secondly, how hard for you to satisfied people who decide about your parenthood even you gratued University. Someone said 'try harder it's your fault, but you think why? For me even home studio and more experiments show your skills. Of course I have to buy more equipments and more, but I should be honest. I use my own, DIY reflections to take product photography and fashion, for example like that portrait it looks natural. Everything it depends on you.
