A young wallaby mother eyeing me up as I snap a picture of her youngster climbing into her pouch. Before I got too close the Joey was bouncing about the bush, it's mother lounging on the grass. As soon as I got within 12ft, the mother jumped up and ushered her young into the pouch.
Of course I meant no harm, but her protective instincts kicked in which was amazing to see. Nature is beautiful.
