Doesn't this look like a peaceful, serene winter postcard?
This is a photo of Jasmine who was my black long coat German Shepherd. She was standing in our snow covered golden broom sage field with an antique 1940's (or earlier) oak garage. The building really used to be a garage.
It was such a lovely, serene, quiet, snow filled day when I took this. Just a very beautiful quiet country moment with the dogs, snow crunching under my boots, camera in hand, and a gorgeous landscape with my dogs to give me an amazing amount of photo opportunities.
I was very excited to be out taking photos that day with my first nice DSLR camera that I had just bought a few months earlier.
Jasmine who is standing in the photo, was my first German Shepherd, and was given to me by her owner when he couldn't care for her properly due to school and work.
She also had epilepsy and horrible seizures...but was the sweetest kindest animal that I have ever known.
I think she had some brain damage because in all the years I had her...not once did she ever bark, and she wasn't really that intelligent. But...her sweet kindness was priceless.
