Spotted this scene driving along Hwy 50 in Colorado, though wasn't sure if I wanted to capture it. After turning around and checking out the different vantage points, some waiting was in store. Once the clouds moved in and the sun came out, the dead tree had me wondering how Mother Nature could push it through the rock on the edge of this mountain, was it a pine tree and why it died.
