Behind The Lens

Location

This photograph was taken on my way into Kirkjufellfoss Iceland

Time

I believe it was about 9.30am

Lighting

The lighting was just natural light

Equipment

Canon EOS 7D Mark II EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM (Handheld)

Inspiration

I came across this on the way into Kirkjufellfoss to photograph Kirkjufell Mountain I liked the way the snow broke up the black of the mountain and the reflection of it in the lake

Editing

I usually use Photoshop just to bring out detail and with this image was very little need to be adjusted

In my camera bag

Canon EOS 7D Mark II EF28-135mm f/3.5-5.6 IS USM I take a tripod when I'm on my travels I use it in particular with long exposure images

Feedback

Look for the details that will make your image stand out from the rest Take your time and frame it so that is pleasing for you. Sometimes walking in a different direction may help to enhance your image. Look at shooting from a low as well as a high angle that may give a different perspective
