I missed you

It is 12:30 am on a Thursday morning. The temperature on the field is cold and the grass is damp. Wives, children, parents, and friends anxiously await for the homecoming of their deployed Marine. This woman has waited 205 days for her husband to return home. Their daughter has waited a lifetime to meet her father. When they were released from duty it turned into this moment. It was crazy. It was chaotic. It was magical. Everyone was searching for their loved ones. Where a father, after 6 months, got to meet his daughter for the first time. An amazing woman, who held everything together, got to introduce their baby to the man she loves. This is the Glover family homecoming. I feel absolutely honored and blessed to have been apart of this beautiful moment.
