Location
This photo was taken at Jacobsburg Park in Wind Gap, PA, a great place to find a variety of birds. Blue Jays are one of my favorite birds. I am attracted to their lovely blue color and their feisty attitudes!Time
It was between 10am and noon. The exact time escapes me, I just remember a hot sun.Lighting
Like most of my photos, I rely heavily on natural light.Equipment
I use a Nikon D3400. The lens was 70-300mm. I also used a tripod.Inspiration
I am inspired by anything and everything in nature.Editing
No fancy post processing, just a bit of cropping. In my camera bag
I like to bring along as much as I can carry (my bag gets lighter as the years go by!) Typically, I have my 40mm, 70-300mm, and an extra battery and memory card. My 200-500mm lens is attached to my camera most of the time.Feedback
As always, patients is a must. And, don't stop shooting after only one shot....keep clicking away!
