The Sun Will Shine Again

This photograph was taken near Western Carolina University, one of the colleges I have gone to, right after taking my daughter to school. I passed by this spot on the drive back, saw the view with the rising sun and the fog rolling through and over the mountains, and thought to myself, “there is no way I am passing up the chance to take a photograph of such an amazing sunrise”. So I turned around, and headed back. Once I got back to the spot pictured, I pulled to the side of the highway (yes, this is from the road), and proceeded to capture what you see. Photographs are an amazing way to freeze moments of magic in time, memories we value, and cherish; rather that is for ourselves or for others. It’s a moment we never get back, because time is always moving forward, and they are priceless. Knowing this, I take and share these memories and photographs of the world around me and the things I see, such as this one, with all of you to hopefully inspire each and every person that comes across them. This one is titled, “The Sun Will Rise Again”, because no matter what challenges we are facing in life, no matter how hard things get or how bad the storms we are walking through, the sun will always come back out to shine, and in those moments we are going through the above, we have the moon and stars. We just have to open our hearts and eyes, and choose to see.
