I was using a fairly inexpensive ring light purchased off of amazon.Equipment
I had an inexpensive backdrop, a ring light from amazon and the photo was taken and edited with my iPhone 6. It goes to show that you don’t necessarily need the most expensive equipment to take eye catching photos.Inspiration
I love Michelle Pfeiffer’s cat woman and had wanted to try the face paint. Makeup and photography is a form of art therapy for me, and I’m always shocked and grateful by the positive reception they receive. I’m just a self-taught photographer after all, so it’s pretty amazing.Editing
Generally I like to keep my edits to a minimum. Most of the editing was in adjusting the exposure, contrast, and saturation. I like seeing real skin texture and typically will leave in some marks etc as I think our ‘flaws’ can be beautiful.In my camera bag
Just my iPhone and an open mind. Although I do love playing with my RGB LED lighting. And don't get me wrong, I've since gotten a DSLR and I love it like its my first born. This girl has joined the canon family!Feedback
