When you aren’t the one driving but want them to stop every five minutes so you can take a photo, realistically you’re lucky to get one or two times the driver is kind enough to pull over for a minute. Asking to back up a quarter mile is far beyond options. Standing on top of a pile of disregarded tires and rotten wood I was tall enough to capture this horse ranch. Viewable by road for a few brief seconds, I quickly needed to find a shot that I wanted which made it all slow down.
