Cape fox (Vulpes chama)

Damaraland, Namibia

At first I noticed the beautiful trees all alone in this stunning landscape, but as I was photographing the landscape I noticed a pair of ears pointing towards me.

As I was at a very far distance to the fox I hoped to get a bit closer, one step at a time, but the fox immediately walked away when I realised I was approaching.

It just had to leave an important message first, as if anyone doubted who's land this was.
