Location
In Death Valley CaliforniaTime
it was early morning and I was lying on the ground shooting some closeups and noticed the texture and rule of thirds with this scene--what struck me most was the contrast of the sand and mountainsLighting
the lighting of the clouds and mountains was particularly nice with streaks of yellow mixed with the clouds in contrast with the mountains yet somewhat blending with the color of the dunesEquipment
I used a Fuji x-t1 (Have now upgraded to the Fuji x-t4) and a fuji wide angle lens 10-24F4OISInspiration
Sunrises and sunsets are spectacular in Death Valley--this was my third trip in just a few years and I have always found great photo opportunities there.Editing
I edited the photo in Lightroom Classic and Aurora HDR --mainly contrast and some cropping. In my camera bag
I normally have a Fuji x-t4 now and carry two or three Fuji lenses of the eight I own with cleaning equipment and extra batteriesFeedback
Go to Death Valley and you will have a multitude of opportunities!
