A year and a half ago I was on a shoot for @natgeo filming a couple of sequences that you can now see in episode 2 of @onestrangerock_natgeo. Here is @rogerschaeli climbing with Thomas Senf in Switzerland. I was the camera assistant on this shoot, working with DOP & Camera Op @anotherdayattheoffice. We had a couple of days filming with Roger and Thomas at two different locations. The first day we were with them on the ice getting close ups and details, Rob was also climbing with them to film on the route - jealous. The second day we filmed them climbing ‘Crack Baby’, Roger and Thomas had slept at the top of the route overnight which must have been ace. The rest of us had a couple of hours hike in the dark to get to our positions before sunrise which was also a nice adventure. Myself and Rob were positioned quite far from the rock and ice across the valley, wading through waist deep snow. We had the beastly canon 50-1000 to capture the action. @petergskeith was closer to the base of the route with his drone getting lots of amazing footage. It was a great shoot to be on working with really lovely people, hope there’s plenty more to come! .
