As I was taking photos of part of the Bison herd, I just happened to look behind me and this guy had changed course and was approaching me. I think he was concentrating more on the next big bunch of grass than me...but I moved anyhow! ; )

Fabulous capture ! There was always a Bison Farm just on the outskirts of where I live but have not heard much of it in the last few years, will have to look into it.

They really are....they are like cows on steroids! Lol! And after I saw him, I told others around me that hadn't seen him either. It is amazing how such a huge animal can move so quietly. But we were ok, we just wouldn't have wanted to wait around too much longer!

Great shot! When I was in college, we worked with the buffalo at the state park ( one of the reasons I went to that school) and it was AMAZING! I came away with tons of respect for buffies and the ability to climb a fence in record time, lol. Good call on walking away ;)
