Playful and smart looking. I always like the foxes. I know where they are in Southern California, now I am motivated to drive to them.. Great shot!

Love this shot - grooming time, but one always on the lookout for danger. Sadly our native foxes are still hunted here in the UK. Truly great capture!

I live in the south east of England in a busy 'seaside town'. Over the last 10 or so years I have seen a big increase in Urban Wildlife. Foxes are now very used to living alongside us humans. This beautiful family were born under the decking in my neighbours garden. I get a great view of them from an upstairs window. Only this particular day the young ones were playing in the sunshine for a good hour. 'I got lots of images of them playing'.Time
I took this shot on a bright sunny morning at 7.45am on the 16th of June 2018Lighting
My neighbour has a swimming poll at the end of their garden which was covered on this morning. The family of foxes enjoy running over the pool cover from one side to the next. I think they like the fact that the cover moves as they run over it!Equipment
I have a Lumix FZ1000 bridge camera. Not the best but a nice bit of kit. I am saving to up-date as soon as I can. The lens on my Lumix is a 25 -400.Inspiration
I have always been very interested in Photography. I like to think I'm creative and have a 'Good eye'. My uncle was a very well respected Sports photographer working for a national newspaper. (Sadly passed away now). He would cover all the major sporting events around the world and I think that's where I got the 'Photo bug' from. I have a very strong feeling towards 'Wildlife' photography, I want to capture the moment that wouldn't otherwise be seen unless I took the shot. Also the big challenge for me is to 'Freeze a moment, event or animal'. My inspiration is what I see that others maybe don't see!Editing
I'm not a very technical person, ' I'm a bloke and don't read the manuals'! It always seem like too much work. I understand what it gives you and wish I was more technically savvy. That said I did run this shot through the photo editing software that came with my laptop. Since this shot was taken I have invested in some software- Affinity Photo. A great bit of tech but still working my way through what it can do. 'Not reading the manual' - looking at tutorials on YouTube. In my camera bag
As I have said I have a Bridge camera so my bag consists of: One camera with a fixed lens. A bottle of water 2 snack bars A square of vinyl to sit on if the ground is wet Cloth to clean or dry the camera and finally and most importantly a second batteryFeedback
With wildlife photography the most important bit of advice I can give is 'Be patient' when you have done that, then be even more patient. I think a very big percentage of 'What make a good shot' is 'Right place right time'. And if you put yourself in the right place good things will happen.
