For over a century 3 generations of the Ressler family continuously operated Mascot Mills milling flour for the surrounding community until 1934 when W. Franklin Ressler and his sister retired and turned over the mill and their home to the Ressler Mill foundation. This photo shows the mill's office which also served as the Mascot Post Office. If you visit Lancaster county, Pennsylvania, the mill and their home are open for tours. Everything is just as they left it in 1934 - no reproductions or period pieces have been added.
