Location
I was walking through the park with the child I was babysitting at the time, and I caught a glimpse of this view from the corner of my eye and had to capture the beautiful, natural chaos of it.Time
I believe it was mid-afternoon. The child had woken up from a nap, and usually went down around midday. The shadows cast on the water through the leaves called to me.Lighting
The natural lighting felt perfect, the sun and shadows capturing a melancholy I couldn’t quite describe to myself, but had to try and photograph, to look back on later.Equipment
Believe it or not, I took this with a camera phone.Inspiration
The wind blowing through the trees seemed to whisper my name. I was inspired to look and caught a glimpse of an image that I had to attempt to capture for all time.Editing
It’s as natural as I could take it, I have not edited or tweaked this image at all.In my camera bag
It’s usually just me, a camera and luck. Never leave home without my luck.Feedback
Take as many photos as you can. Two hundred of them might be out of focus and ow quality... but that two hundred and first shot? It could be something special.
