Behind The Lens

Location

This photo has been taken on my way to work at Roosevelt Ave subway station. There is a small flower shop and these cute roses caught my eyes! The exact location - Roosevelt Ave Subway Station - Diversity Plaza Entrance, Jackson Heights, NY

Time

This is one of my coolest picture! Because that day I wasn't in a mood to take pictures. So, when I was going to my work in the evening around 8PM, I saw these flowers in the corner of the shop! I couldn't resist myself to stop and look at those for a while. Then I realized I should capture the beauty and yes, I took the picture.

Lighting

This would be my best unprepared raw shot! No edit required to publish this beauty.

Equipment

Camera: COOLPIX L620 which is a tiny point and shot camera I always carry in my bag when I don't carry my DSLR.

Inspiration

This flowers changed my mood! I was upset and not ready to take any picture. Whole day I was at home and in the evening I started for my work. These flowers forced me to stop and look at them. And finally this lovely shot came out.

Editing

No! Not at all for this particular picture.

In my camera bag

Nikon D7000 with 35mm f/1.8 Prime along with 18-140mm kit lens, 55-200 VR, 50mm f/1.8 Prime. Also I carry Nikon SB700 Speedlight Flash, a Small Tripod, ND Filter. These are my basic things I carry regularly. But there are some small tiny things are always with me. A 360 Degree LG Camera, Nikon Coolpix L620 Point & Shoot camera, a iPhone 6S to record Time Lapse (only for time lapse, not for using as a phone).

Capture something which makes you feel it and you just forget everything and enjoy that beauty. Remember, if you don't feel and enjoy, then others won't! So.. Start finding what you feel most and what you enjoy. Then just capture the moment!
