I was out flying model rockets with friends, and decided to see if I could capture some rockets leaving the launch pad. I also thought since I had my camera that I would take some photos of the clouds which were very low that morning. This is the Manzano mountains in New Mexico with a "painted" desert of scrub and juniper leading up the mesa to the base of the mountains.
